Advertising Campaign
Food for Fines
During the holidays, libraries across the country accept canned goods on behalf of food banks instead of paying library fees. My vision was to create a humorous campaign with a “brand mascot”: a stereotypical grumpy librarian named Doris. Her goal is to get students to pay their fines by donating to the program, no matter what it takes. I took inspiration from Shepard Fairey's “OBEY Giant” line to convey Doris’s authoritarian tone.
I wrote, filmed, and edited these commercials in November 2020. Special thanks to Dr. K for playing Doris.
